Rebekah
Rebekah completed her studies at Deakin University in Victoria. She has experience working with clients across the lifespan in public and private sector. Rebekah has worked across a variety of clinical settings including forensic, disability, child and adult mental health and positive behavior support. Rebekah has experience facilitating individual and group based therapy.
Rebekah is passionate about providing evidenced based psychological interventions to children and young people who are experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and adjustment difficulties. Rebekah Is responsive to her client’s needs and typically employs a range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and schema based techniques.
Rebekah is warm, patient and sensitive to the diverse needs of her clients. She is particularly interested in the impacts of trauma on the developing brain and rebuilding parent-child attachment following adverse life events.
Rebekah holds General Registration as a psychologist through AHPRA, she is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is a registered Circle of Security (COSP) facilitator.
