Jessica

Jessica completed her Bachelor of Behavioural Studies (Psychology) at Swinburne University and her Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Honours) at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Jessica also has a Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies from Flinders University.

 

Jessica has worked in the Disability and Community sector for over six years across varied non-government roles including working as a Psychologist (Provisional) in the rural town of Roma, where she worked with a diverse and varied caseload and engaged with the local and surrounding communities.

She has experience working with clients across the lifespan and has worked across various clinical settings, including multi-disciplinary allied health teams, disability, child and adult mental health, and positive behaviour support.

 

Jessica works collaboratively with clients, and combines evidence-based treatments with a warm, non-judgmental, neuro-affirming and strengths-based approach, to help clients struggling with a range of difficulties and to provide them with the necessary tools to achieve their goals.

Jessica’s approach includes providing evidence-based psychological interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solutions Focussed Therapy, Art Therapy, and Play Therapy.

She has experience treating a range of mental health issues and diagnoses, including, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Eating Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Cognitive Impairment and Selective Mutism.
