Colin
Colin has experience with CBT (Cognitive behavioural Therapy), focusing on trauma and related behaviours across a wide range of demographics. He has worked within the child protection residential care sector and is experienced with the breadth of behaviours that stem from trauma, disability, and environmental factors.
Colin also has experience with TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) and knows the importance of building and establishing trust and rapport with clients of all ages. In addition, Colin has the knowledge and an understanding of Behaviour Support Plans and strategies to reduce and eliminate behaviours of concern.
Colin has an interest in all age ranges and diagnosis with a focus on trauma-informed care and culturally appropriate practice. He is also interested in the use of tabletop role-playing games for assisting with social skills and anxiety.
Colin focuses on providing an open and welcoming environment where people will feel safe expressing themselves and working on their individual needs.
