Denise
Denise is a warm and empathetic psychologist who believes that each client’s life history, personal experiences, and internal conflicts, shape their lives in distinct ways, and this individuality must be considered in the therapeutic process. Her primary areas of practice include anxiety and mood disorders, family and interpersonal challenges, adjustment issues, and trauma-related difficulties. Denise seeks to create a safe therapeutic environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts and emotions and is interested in working with clients from diverse life paths across the lifespan.
She uses evidence-based frameworks to tailor her therapeutic approach to the individual needs of clients, including, psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, play therapy, and trauma-informed interventions.
Believing that personal growth often comes from struggle and conflict, and that people can turn challenging times into valuable learnings, giving their experiences deeper meaning and appreciation.
